Before real estate, I built my career in high-performance rugby, representing Wellington, the Hurricanes, and the Maori All Blacks. Those experiences shaped my mindset — discipline, resilience, preparation, and a relentless competitive edge. Performing under pressure isn’t new to me. It’s where I thrive.

I then spent over a decade in Italy playing and coaching rugby. Immersing myself in a new culture, learning a new language, and building a life and family abroad expanded my perspective and strengthened my leadership. It reinforced adaptability, accountability, and the ability to connect with people from all walks of life.

Elite sport taught me that success is never accidental. It comes from preparation, strategy, teamwork, and total commitment. That philosophy now underpins every campaign I run.

I’m process-driven, highly strategic, and unwavering in my communication. I bring structure, energy, and absolute focus to every property I represent. My standard isn’t average — it’s premium.

Talking with Luke, however, changed our mind, as he came knocking on the door every month to have casual friendly chat about market trends in the area and showed a genuine and fervent interest in our property and particular circumstances. We could be wrong, but it came across like John had more experience and working knowledge of the trade, but Luke was certainly taking on the role as our primary contact and advocate, with John offering active support.
